Sumptuous velvet sofas on a super soft rug with footstools, side tables and mood lamps in-front of a woodburning stove for those cosy nights in. Large Freesat, Smart TV, and powerful internet connection, a drawer full of board games, jigsaws, and simple pleasures to share with friends.
A hand-painted kitchen/dining area with a butlers sink, stone surfaces, large fridge freezer (capacity for your weeks supply of fresh or frozen food!); electric ovens with gas hob, microwave, dishwasher, washing machine – and plenty of storage, beyond the fully equipped space, for the inner chef! Comfortable dining for four looking out over the garden and woodland beyond

Perfect for four people, or an indulgent treat for two
Two bedrooms both with ensuites; one with bath and shower over, one with walk-in shower – plus an abundance of fluffy towels, hairdryers, huge mirrors and fragrant toiletries. Both bedrooms have kingsize beds, quality linen, plenty of natural light. A daybed in one bedroom enables twin occupation or just a comfortable place to while away some time with a good book. All the beds sit directly under large opening skylights so you can watch the clouds float by or the stars in the night sky – a peaceful way to relax!

A rare and private garden bordered by a babbling beck, nestled into a woodland landscape.
The Butlers Cottage sits within a little oasis of calm away from the summer crowds. First you step out onto a wrap-around stone terrace complete with alfresco dining, then down to soft grass surrounded by flowering climbers, sloping down to the wrought iron balustrade bordering the flowing beck, heading seaward. The abundant wildlife includes all manner of songbirds, fresh-water ducks, squirrels and deer – and owls hooting to each other at dusk. Outside lighting, a gas bbq and a kadai pit fire complete the scene for a perfect outdoor setting to savour.
But, ever practical, the garden is dog-proofed, and a special fenced area has been set aside for their safety and comfort with a hatch into the garden cabin complete with a dog bed and many towels – so they get to dry off after a brisk swim and roll in the sand without affecting your pleasure! The cabin also has a tumble dryer and space to hang wet clothes – a bonus when returning from a day on the beach or a winter walk on the moors!
And beyond the garden is safe, off-road car parking within a few steps of the garden gate.
